That's What Friends are For

alone in a cold night..
a boy sit beside the road..
looking at his frozen bread..
and a glass of frozen milk..

no longer, a girl came and talk to him..
"what are you doing here?"
"you have no house to live?"
"if it's so, come to my house.."

the boy followed her, almost dead..
but he feeling like alive..
when they reach the girl's house..
with a big fireplace in the living room..

the boy ask the girl..
"thank you for saving my life.."
"what can I do for you in return?"
and than the girl answered..

"just give me a big smile.."
"and a spirit that never die of you.."
"that will enough for me.."
"for you are my friend.."

after several years..
the boy become a great doctor..
and the girl become a great teacher..

after a long time discord..
they meet again..
in a huge hospital..
where the boy's in charge there..

the boy doesn't know the girl at first..
and so the girl..
they met when the girl is in the condition..
that she needed to operated soon..

although she doesn't have that much money..
she choose to do the operation..
and find a way to pay her debt in return..

after the doctor operate him..
the girl became worried of her debt..
but when she open her eyes on the morning..
she saw a packet of breakfast and a note from the doctor..

"your operation has been paid.."
"by the kindness to a little boy in a cold winter.."
the girl cried happy tears..
and quickly find the doctor..

she asked the reason..
and the doctor just said..
"because when I'm dying.."
"a little girl help me.."
"and she just wanted a big smile.."
"and a spirit that never died of me.."
"and I would like to say to you.."
"this is what friends are for.."

my friends,, let us see the world that around us..
is there 'a little boy' need shelter in the cold or 'a girl that need money to operate'?
if there are, let us help them and say 'give me a big smile and a spirit that never die of you,
for you are my friend, and that's what friends are for..'
if they ask 'what should I do for you in return?'

It's not a special one, just a simple story for friends

I remember her..
She's an old woman in a car..
I don't know if she's an angel or not..
The 1 thing I know is she's warm..
So do her family..

I know it's rainin' that night..
The cold is not the usual cold..
I wonder if she didn't come..
maybe I've died in that road..
Under the shower of the rain..

I am not her relative..
and not her friends..
I know she's my neighbor..
But I don't really know her..

she gave me a cup of hot chocolate that night..
and take me to sit with she and her husband..
we talked a lot that night..
I don't really understand what they're talking actually..
But I know that they really miss their children..

I don't know where are their children..
and don't want to know where they are..
That night I think..
'Maybe they'll feel better with me being here..'
And from that night on, I determine..
I'll visit them every afternoon..

I'll change..
From a person who never talk to others..
become a person who's warm to others..

I'll change..
from a person that is always alone..
become a person that love to care to others..

I'll throw away my bad this year,,
and do better in the new year,,
for that old couple told me..
'do your best son..'
'if you want to change, just change..'
'and if you feel that you can't,,'
'just believe you, believe that you can..'
'if you want to come to us, just come..'
'for you are forever our friend..'
'and just remember son..'
'sometimes, doing small things spontaneously,,'
'can bring happiness to others..'

just a simple one, that I want to give to my friends..
For they have changed my life to be better.

Hi everyone, it's my new blog here.

Think of blog, I have abandoned my last blog maybe...

"some months" ago? hehe.

Anyway, I'm thinking to start a new one.
